The initial ELC international partner, International School of Theology and Leadership (ISTL) was the first Christian educational institution to incorporate Authentic Leadership as required curriculum. AL 101, as it has become known, is now being taught to all first year students who attend. Wes Boldt, authour of Authentic Leadership, has been the professor traveling to Tirana, Albania twice a year to teach the two modules until COVID. Now, AL 101 is being taught online. In October 2019, Wes, Jim Thiessen, ELC Representative and ISTL Board Chair, and a group of Canadian visitors witnessed the graduation of the first class to take AL 101.
